This site serves Vancouver Islanders who check ferries, outages, wildfires, road conditions, local events, and headlines in one place. Sponsorships help cover hosting and development, while giving local businesses simple visibility — without the clutter.
Available placements
- Sidebar Sponsor Card: Small logo/title, 1–2 lines, link to your site.
- Community Spotlight: Short feature for a local event or non‑profit.
- Regional Placement: Show to specific areas (Comox Valley, Nanaimo, Victoria, etc.).
All placements are lightweight, static, and clearly labeled as “Sponsor” or “Community Spotlight”. No trackers.
Guidelines
- Local businesses, services, events, and non‑profits only.
- Clean, respectful design — no blinking banners or auto‑play.
- No personal tracking scripts. Basic, anonymous analytics only.
- Content must be family‑friendly and community‑minded.

- Community Spotlight (7 days): $25 / feature
- Regional Placement add‑on: +$10 / region / month
